Dr. Carola Cooper AP, LMT
Licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist
Carola is a board certified, Licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in both Kinesiology and Health Science and a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Carola brings a diverse background of Traditional Chinese Medicine, sports acupuncture, nutrition support as well as acupuncture injection therapy to her practice.
Her acupuncture focuses on the Five Element tradition, which is a system of medicine that helps people gain health and maintain balance at a deep level. Specifically, she assists with balancing health and wellness while addressing injury recovery, pain conditions, stress disorders, pre/post-surgery recovery, cancer support, women’s health, and digestive issues. By listening and gathering information about a person’s life, she can help to stimulate a patient’s own healing potential and provide guidance towards balance and health. These client centered protocols yield effective results for lasting changes in her patients’ health and wellness.
Carola moved to Gainesville in 2014 and enjoys all of the outdoor activities that Florida has to offer. An avid sailor, Carola makes frequent trips to either coast to participate in regattas whenever she can.
